Date / Time Fri 15th Sept 2006 [21:00 - 00:30]
Location Site B - Sliuce
Observers Gary McGrory, Paul Stephen
Weather Very damp due to high rainfall on previous days and proximity to running water. Approx 40% high cloud dispersed around 22:30.
Moon Waning crescent - Hidden completely by trees to the E & NE
General Comments Sky nice and clear. Milky Way evident. A fair dome of LP from Glasgow to the north due to the high moisture content of the atmosphere (Also from Kilmarnock to the south). All in all we had a good night though we gave up when the dampness became too much of a problem.
